Living Vs Existing-Blog

 

Do you often feel like you are going through the motions? Do you feel tired most days? Have you noticed yourself feeling irritable nearly everyday this week?

It is easy to get sucked into the hustle and bustle of life with all that you have to do, be and manage. However, running on empty and not fueling your mind, body, and spirit is a recipe for cooking up a crisis or some form of personal chaos. It is important to keep your cup full, and pour into yourself first by eating nutritious foods, exercising and stretching, and carving out quiet time to detox your mind from a flood of thoughts from a very long day.  

I challenge you to live and feel alive vs. simply existing on auto pilot. Here are some tips to get you started: First, start by taking 3 minutes to breathe deeply allowing your chest to rise and fall. Second, drink at least a gallon of water throughout the day to stay hydrated. Third, do some simple stretches to increase circulation, and lastly write down one thing you are grateful for and tap into that thought of gratitude when you are feeling low energy. It's important to take good care of yourself today because your future self will thank you later!
